Country folk at heart, my husband and I recently purchase a small hobby farm in southeastern Putnam County -- Martinstown, to be exact. We moved there with our two sons, ages 11 and 15, and two dogs, one cat, five rabbits and an assortment of other pets too small to mention. We have continued to add to the "herd" with a couple of goats, few more rabbits and a flock of chickens. Our goal is to become as self-sufficient as possible while taking good care of our little piece of the earth.

I have been a licensed real-estate agent since January of 2005. I have a broad base of experience, having acted as buyer's and seller's agent for residential property, hunting and recreational land, as well as Lake Thunderhead properties. If I have a specialty, it would have to be working "first time" and "out-of-state" buyers and sellers. In both cases, you need someone who is willing to invest some extra time helping you learn an unfamiliar process and answering all of your questions. The role of teacher and facilitator comes naturally to me. Before becoming licensed, I was an educator for 18 years.

Having gone through a recent real-estate transaction, I am even more aware of all of the trials and tribulations one can face through the entire process of buying and selling a property.
